What Comes After the Smartphone?
We're developing SoundBridge – a tiny IoT device the size of a USB dongle that brings internet to headphones and earbuds. With voice control in up to 7,000 languages and 30,000 dialects, you can control music, talk to an AI assistant, get maps and navigation, send voice messages to friends, and soon open doors, book, order and pay for goods and services – almost everything you use your smartphone for today!

We will also fine-tune OpenAI's Whisper speech-to-text model with up to 100 million new hours of voice data from around the world – a project worth over €10 million. This can reduce error rates on most dialects to just 1 per 100 words, down from 20–40 today, making voice the next interface for the world, and ensuring every language and dialect is understood by technology.
